Life in the desert is so fragile and demanding that it allows no errors and imposes humility, simplicity and respect.

The desert allows, for those who wish to see it and live it, a return to basics and essentials. To live there is so difficult that all forms of life, from animal to vegetable, are an amazing miracle of nature.

Water, a basic element for all living things becomes the essential element for life and for survival. The dew quenches the insects and plants which in turn nourish the large animals.Saharia Services is based in M'Hamid, the door to the desert. It is made up of young nomads local to the region.

It is our objective at Saharia Services to protect the desert of the Hamada du Drâa and to allow your discovery of it in a spirit of respect and sharing.

The camel caravan will walk on average five hours per day, across the reg d'el Arada, Sidi Naji and Ezmaila before exiting onto Erg Ez-Zahar, the largest and most imposing dune of the most beautiful desert in Morocco.

The six to eleven day desert tours are made in an autonomous caravan, principally along the unspoilt left bank of the Drâa river.

Camp at the foot of the dunes, take tea under a tamaris tree, prepare delicious bread in the hot sand.
